Vintage Austin wedding: Rachel + Clint Part 1
Rachel + Clint had a two day wedding affair to accomodate all their guests. A ceremony and small intimate dinner party reception took place on Saturday followed by a second reception on Sunday. Both were gorgeous. Let’s peek at their wedding venue first. Palazzo Lavaca had the perfect blend of European sophistication and Austin edge to compliment both R + C’s personalities. They kept the location secret from all their friends, simply listing the church and stating “merriment and celebratory dinner to follow at a clandestine location” on their wedding invitations. Everyone was in awe – it was an exquisite background for the best dinner party ever, and all captured perfectly by Taylor Lord. Click here to view entire gallery of images!
More than anything, we wanted this weekend to be a rich celebration of the amazing family and friends we are blessed with. Those special people are scattered coast to coast and abroad and we wanted to share every moment possible with them. That meant a weekend of parties! Our bachelor and bachelorette parties were on Friday night, our tiny wedding and dinner party on Saturday, and a larger, more traditional party on Sunday night.
What a place to have a dinner, right?

Stunning wedding, but perhaps my favorite detail of all is that the groom had the bride's engagement ring made with gold from their grandmothers' rings.
