This sweet couple was actually freshly married when these were shot, but decided they wanted photos together (not in their wedding garb) before Preston left for basic training with the Navy. Didn’t they do a bang-up job of incorporating subtle references to their families’ military legacy without making it the dominant theme?
It feels so historical with navy and pearls and the handsome hubby about to leave for his tour of duty.
