Real Wedding: Jenna + Jon’s invitations
We are soooooooooo excited to finally be able to share Jenna and Jon’s invites. GAAAAAAAAAH. We’ve been dying to post them since they went out last spring. Erica, the uber talented lady behind pretty Thoughtful Day, designed them and Jon wrote the copy himself. (Love the reply card, Jon!)
Erica and Jenna go way back to their days in art school, so obviously Jenna had to have her old friend and very talented designer do her invites. They collaborated on the concept… ticket shapes, a vintage Brooklyn bridge stamp (which was the view from their ceremony spot), and the intertwined pink elephants which sort of turned into their logo since their wedding was a carnival theme, they were married in Dumbo and they had pink elephants as their signature drink.
Invite Design: Erica fromĀ Thoughtful Day, with calligraphy from Jenna herself, of course.
Styling: Anne le Guern of minifrenchie
Tomorrow we’re posting the wedding. It’s REALLY good. See you then.

These are absolutely adorable and fun! The packaging is incredibly...even the calligraphy and stamps are personalized and look professional! It would be fun to include an engagement photo from a vintage theatre-themed shoot too!

These are insanely beautiful and the perfect palette! I have been toying around with the ideas of using loads of bright colours, but it makes me nervous because its so bold - this is a perfect example of how it works so well. love 'em.

Oh and I am not a Liverpool or Chelsea supporter, however the way the Liverpool fans were still singing You'll Hardly ever Walk alone when their team was losing and the game was almost finished was attractive. Big respect.
