Sometimes a wedding is just delightful. It’s laid back, there’s a sense of community from all the friends & family, the flowers are simple but fitting, and when all else fails an inordinate amount of bunting makes for adorable decor. Obviously having such an adorable and loving couple with a bride in her mothers wedding dress – perfection! Sharalee Prang photographed Beth + Mark’s wedding and said the sweetest thing: There were moments I felt as if the bride and groom might just float away, they were so happy.

How sweet is the back of her dress and her maiden braid? Such a simple and sweet updo for your wedding day.

Their music:
During the ceremony: Their friend, Nathan Moes played covers of the following: Sparkplug Minuet by Mark Mothersbaugh (for when the bridesmaids walked in), All You Need is Love by The Beatles (for Beth’s walk down the aisle), Grow Old With Me by The Postal Service for their signing, and Oh How Happy by Shades of Blue for their recessional.

The cloth napkins and chair ties were made of old sheets that matched the retro/vintage feel of the bridal party’s attire. And the flowers were all picked from a friend’s house.

The ceiling was filled with hanging candles and patterned paper bunting.

They potted fresh rosemary plants in tin cans for each of the guests to take away as favors.

A snippet of advice from Beth:
Prioritize time to connect for you and your fiancé or fiancée during the week leading up to the wedding. There were a few moments when I felt completely overwhelmed and to step away from the wedding prep madness and reconnect was exactly what the doctor ordered.
