Happy Monday, friends! Isn’t our bride Manning so cute in her Reem Acra gown? She’s one of the founders of hair + makeup biz Studio MMB, so it’s no secret that she has pretty amazing taste. She + her guy Ting said I Do at The Fig House with 100 guests surrounding them.

Manning says, A favorite moment was getting ready in the middle of the living room at The Fig House. I had my best friend with me and knew that the love of my life was waiting for our First Look. I felt butterflies in my stomach and couldn’t help but smile because I was so happy. It was a dream to see everything planned to come to life.

So, this setup? It’s based on an XO formation—the guests were seated in the X and they were married under an O of hanging greens to represent being surrounded by their loved ones. So neat.

Nhu of Lumiani Events explains, The octagon detail was inspired by the venue’s wooden octagon dinner tables and the theme carried through to our custom designed place card seating installation piece made of gold plated aluminum octagons with guest names and their tables accented with love quotes selected by Manning and Ting.

Did we mention their theme was Drunk in Love? Their favors of shakers with liquor followed the theme too. Our kinda wedding!

A friend also helped them create slideshow that they incorporated her mother and his father who have passed away. M tells it, We included them and wrote them letters reassuring them that we were doing well and that we had found each other. And, at the end of the slideshow, Ting surprised me with a video that melted my heart. It was the most emotional part of the night to see him teary eyed with love and all I could do was keep all the tissue for myself.
