We’re always on the lookout for our new favorite venues—and we love that we can turn to our amazing network of vendors for a little help! Gary Ashley of The Wedding Artists Collective recently stopped by Korakia Pensione, and of course made sure to take some pics while he and his wife Lisa enjoyed a relaxing getaway. In the afternoon Korakia Pensione serves Moroccan tea with ginger cookies, which is a nice little pick-me-up. They also have a simple small plates poolside menu.

Look at that pool! Korakia Pensione would make a pretty sweet spot for a bridal shower, bachelorette party or even a honeymoon, yes?
In the morning the resort serves a delicious basic breakfast (usually your choice of eggs or granola parfait).
From Lisa… We’ve been to Korakia Pensione three times in 18 months, so if you can’t tell we’re big fans of the place! I think the beauty of Korakia is in how incredibly quiet and peaceful it is. It’s not the place you go to meet people or to party… It’s the place you go when you need to catch up on some sleep, read a good book from cover to cover, take a dip in the pool, and catch some sun.
Of course there’s the outdoor movie at night and a bocce ball court, which is fun to play. There are bikes you can borrow to get around town and on weekend mornings they offer an outdoor yoga class. Other than that there’s not a whole lot going on, but that’s sort of the point! For dinner our favorite thing to do is go to Kings Highway and have a cocktail, order food to go, take it back to Korakia with a bottle of wine, and make a private picnic by one of the fires.
