1. Tavern. Your wedding photos are sure to come out well at Tavern, thanks to a picturesque atrium-like dining room lined with whitewashed brick and romantic lighting. It’s a good place for a reception and cocktail hour.

2. Lucques. For a beautiful, intimate wedding, I love Lucques because of how homey and sweet the space is. You can have your ceremony in the back and move into the front for cocktail hour and dinner. The exposed ceilings and brick fireplace make it extra cozy.

3. Otium. Anyone who loves architecture would love Otium. The floor to ceiling windows let in tons of light, and the restaurant has rights to the gorgeous outdoor park area adjacent to The Broad if you are in need of a large space. How amazing would it be to get married next to The Broad?

4. Estrella. For the offbeat bride, Estrella is one of my favorite places because of its eclectic decor and boho vibes. The charming outdoor space is full of lush greenery and there’s a lounge area that’s great for dancing.

5. République. République is as beautiful as it is inviting, with its rustic brick walls and natural light pouring in through the glass ceiling in the main dining area. The space is large and has a good flow because it’s broken up into multiple sections, so your guests can move around easily.

6. Ysabel. The steps at Ysabel are absolutely perfect for a ceremony. Imagine standing there with all of the guests below on the patio watching! That can transition into cocktail hour followed by a lovely dinner in the main dining area.

7. Faith & Flower. At Faith & Flower, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to the 1920’s thanks to its luxurious modern decor replete with gorgeous vintage touches. The spacious buildout can accommodate up to 400 guests. I love the back area for a reception dinner.

8. Rose. The Rose Venice not only has multiple spaces for events, but you can also tent their parking lot for a large ceremony space and then hold your dinner inside. A full buyout would allow for a great cocktail hour inside and a beautiful dinner outside surrounded by lush greenery.

9. Fig & Olive. At Fig & Olive you have 8,000 sq. ft. of space to play with for your dream wedding. This location is their West Coast flagship can hold up to 800 people with multiple spots from the Orchard dining room to the Riviera balcony. The Provence Courtyard is an empty space and the perfect place for your ceremony. Head inside afterward for cocktails and dinner, or flip the space for a seated dinner up to 250 people. The gorgeous light-filled space is highlighted by two fig trees with surrounding rosemary, lavender, and sage plants, which add to the casual Mediterranean feel.

10. Cassia. Cassia has an outdoor patio area that is tented in the winter and can be transformed into a ceremony space, and then flipped if needed while guests enjoy drinks inside. The whole restaurant is located in Santa Monica’s art deco telephone building and can fit up to 150 people seated indoors and on the patio and up to 250 guests for a standing reception. If you like a raw bar and inventive cocktails, this is a fantastic spot with a wonderful culinary pedigree.
