Open Sea is a small creative studio in Brooklyn, owned and run by Melissa Constandse, a Cancun native who has called New York City home for over eight years. Along with designer Meaghan Murray (former BHLDN) they specialize in branding and print for a variety of clients that range from Scribe Winery in Sonoma, California, to Café Colette and Hotel Delmano in Brooklyn, and Fashion to Figure, a plus size clothing company based in New York.
Most recently, the company launched a line of botanical wedding invitations under the Open Sea brand. The line is made up of four collection suites representing four different color palettes and themes: Crimson, Amethyst, Azul, and Forest. The line is beautifully printed on Crane’s Lettra and Colorplan papers using two different processes: digital printing on an Indigo press, and classic letterpress.
