This wedding design by Etched Theory Co. with florals from Tumbleweed Floral Design is for the couple who wants a romantic palette that pushes the boundaries yet remains timeless. We don’t see black in a lot of spring weddings, because who wants to detract from the soft romance of those blushier hues? Here, the team explored how to position black as a spring wedding color, softened by ivory and made more luxe with gold accents. Take a peek!

We used some special decorations to bring on more elegance and drama to the wedding theme. We chose the gold scattering halo as the bridal headpiece to ingratiate the touch of luxe of black. Same structured patterns were also applied to the floral art. Tumbleweed Floral Design assimilated multi-color stitching with the scattering shape into the floral design, giving the soft blossoms a sense of toughness.

To avoid adding too much dark metal feeling to the whole wedding theme, we combined black with ivory as a fundamental key to neutralize the heaviness for a bold and simple statement and contrasted a bright pink color with it to add on brightness and saturation. This color collocation made the entire palette more lively to realize an earthy, delicate, and rich wedding dream. All these exuberant senses highlighted by classic color contrast were captured by the lens of Studio Opia.
