If you’ve obsessed over the Modern Love Event as much as we have (remember San Diego back in January?), you’ve probably been waiting for their next iteration, huh? Happy to report it’s here! Last month, they took on Seattle for the first time, and boy did those PNW creatives rise to the challenge. They served up ombre hues for spring, floral installations of baby’s breath, and tons of other 2019 wedding trends we’ve been waiting to see in action. OH, and the cakes?! So. Many. Cakes. We’ll leave it to Whiskers & Willow, Sarah Carpenter Photography, & Malorie Kerouac Photography to show you what we mean in photos, and Modern Love Event’s founder Jill is here with the highlights:

Gather Design Company really went there with their version of Spring Ombre and we could not get enough.
First time we’ve ever seen a “Cake Lounge,” and who better to bring one to life than the created minds behind Gather Events? If the suspended cake by Cake Life Everyday didn’t catch your eye, then the dripping citrus inspired florals by Bowman Interiors & Events did.
We got to treat our VIPs and their families to a Champagne Bar hosted by ONEHOPE Wine.
And we fell head over heels for this design space by Kayla Cook Events and Metal and Moss, blending boho with modern touches.
With farm tables ever so popular right now, it was refreshing to see a take on the traditional square table designed by Petra Rabson, with florals by Petal & Posy and the most stunning linen by La Tavola Fine Linen.
Pretty obsessed with our sponsor lounges by Fanciful Rentals and Sea of Roses. Their interpretation of the event palette was spot on!
One of our favorite things about The 101, is that you are allowed to suspend just about anything you want from their tall ceilings. Check out those modern chandeliers from Crimson Haze Lighting!
If flowers could crawl…
Baby’s breath has made its official comeback recently and we cannot get enough of it, especially when floating blooms and butterflies are scattered throughout. Gorgeous design and florals by K. Hancock.
We all love a good ghost chair, but what if they had a poem written on them with custom calligraphy?!?! Love this twist by W // Design Shop.
