Frida Kahlo inspired wedding inspiration

If you love color, this one’s for you. If you love art, this one’s for you. And it’s definitely for you if you love a little somethin’ eclectic and daring. These words from Jenifer of Eco Peach Events sum up their muse best, we think:“Frida y Maria” became a vision in January when I received a handful of awesome Christmas gifts that included skulls, a Peruvian hand woven tablecloth, and a book on how to plan weddings for the LGBT community. I wanted to bring all these elements together and create something that would be both beautiful and help spread awareness that love is love and that it is for everyone because in the end love wins.

Thanks to Shannon Rosan for the photos!

The first person that popped in my head was Frida Kahlo. She has been such an inspiration to me since I was a little girl and she has always pushed me to fly and to keep going. She was also bisexual and I thought a shoot that consisted her inspiration, beauty, and passion and also promoted love for all would be something to be very proud of, not only for me, but for everyone who was involved in this collaborative project. It was a dream come true. I’m pretty sure Frida would love it.
