Prepare to be whisked away, Cakies. This elegant wedding vignette our guide member Vivid Symphony captured at Germany’s Nischwitz Castle will have you reconsidering the possibility of saying I Do abroad. Imagining grand events in the castle’s past, Magnolias on Silk crafted the story of a luxe European wedding with every detail representing a connection to the space. Note how gorg the minty green and pastel pinks pair with all the subtle gold details…
Lettering by GRG brought the scene to life with letterpress paper details and gold calligraphy.
We don’t know how it felt back then in the 18th century when this castle was built, but with the design concept for this shoot we not only tried to reflect the colors and the architecture of this stunning palace but also capture the mood of the grand balls that once took place in the halls of Nischwitz Castle. Classy, playful and elegant were the adjectives to describe overall mood we wanted to create.
Flowers included in the design were English garden roses, white and coral peonies, foxglove, and Japanese ranunculus.
Pretty Bella Belle Elise tulle bow heels for our bride.
The table decoration is very elegant to fit to the luxurious theme. The tableware we chose is from the Ornament collection by Portuguese porcelain manufacturer Vista Alegre, who are well known for their sophisticated designs. The pattern of the collection is inspired by the ceilings of the Vista Alegre Palace, which is crested with white plaster. The subtlety of the white relief on the plates perfectly reflects the plasterwork that can also be found at Nischwitz palace and with is delicate shape and unique details the tableware graces the table. The small golden candleholders with the thin candlesticks and the decorative golden cutlery add just the right amount of classiness.
Love the tassel detail!
The elegant cake design by Suesse Verzauberung mirrored the murals in the castle. So unique!
