Bohemian treehouse wedding inspiration

Treehouse wedding

Say “bohemian” and “treehouse” in the same sentence and yeah, we’re intrigued. Tell us your color palette was based off the bride’s tattoos, like Best Day Ever Events did, and we just gotta see more. Luckily Chelsea Q White Photography captured enough details for us to peek at back in September, with the loveliest early fall lighting as a backdrop.

Christine of Best Day Ever Events says, Chelsea Q White and Stephanie Nelson Makeup & Hair contacted us with an inspiration board for a styled shoot filled with gorgeous images of bohemian decor and we instantly fell in love… Mini macramé hangings, hand strung wooden beads, vintage glassware, and pampas grass blowing in the wind gave the shoot a very bohemian feel. If you look closely though, you’ll notice small details like the pattern on the runner being mimicked on the cake that tie the whole thing together. We also wanted to incorporate a lot of textural elements like the sea grass rug and carved wooden vases to add a natural element to the design.

Bartenders by trade, we definitely wanted to incorporate their skills into the shoot so we utilized the treehouse at The Grove and turned it into a bar area where they made their signature drink. How sweet would that be for a real wedding?!

Those colors we were referring to? Yellow, orange, coral, turquoise, and copper. Each vendor got to interpret the shades which made for an eclectic boho vibe.

Pretty metal basket turned upside down = instant cake stand. Clever.
