More than anything, I want to make a real connection. I’d like to get to know you—and have you know me—so that, on the day of your wedding, we’re more like friends instead of just two sides of a business transaction. To make sure we get there, we’ll spend time together at the engagement session, we’ll meet to make plans and just to chat, and I’ll learn even more about you through some questionnaires. I want to know what you’re most looking forward to at the wedding, and what’s most important to you. This may seem like a lot, but it’s all for a good cause—I really care about your wedding experience, and want to make sure that you get everything you want out of it.

heidi-o-photo is candid, intimate and real.

Once you’ve warmed up in front of the camera, I love to capture more natural moments while paying attention to the details. I give a bit of direction, but leave it open for you to be you, and let those moments happen on their own.

I prefer and enjoy photographing in natural light. My favorite venues have character and charm, such as ranches, gardens, historic venues, or any other unique locations.
