100 Layer Cakelet

Working with Alana was a delight! I wasn't bombarded with employees... never knowing who I was actually working with... I worked with Alana from the first email until the day Mike and I got married. I couldn't have asked for more: she gave me personal service, fair pricing, and most important.... BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!! My bouquet is the one against the antique green door :)

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Alana was to work with. Having no experience with floral arrangements, or flowers in general, she knew exactly what flowers were in season and how to maximize my arrangements to fit within my budget. At our first meeting I showed her a few examples of what I liked and the colors I wanted to go with. I told her I trusted her completely and let her work her creative magic. Nothing prepared me for what I had waiting for me the day of my wedding. Alana blew my expectations out of the water and made the most beautiful bouquets, center pieces and arrangements! Hiring Alana was hands-down the best wedding-related decision that my husband and I made. At first, I was planning to do my own flowers to save money, but one of my bridesmaids talked me out of that to keep my sanity in check. Alana was able to work within our budget and had great cost-savings suggestions without sacrificing the overall aesthetics. I had total confidence and her and she executed my vision perfectly. The flowers were completely gorgeous, but beyond that, Alana is a beautiful person and was a total delight to work with. She even helped me to arrange to donate our extra flowers after the wedding to a local charity that prepares bouquets for hospital patients--and then offered to drop them off for us! Alana is a real gem and I recommend that you snatch her up while you still can!

Alana is amazing. She worked with my to stay in my budget and that meant a lot to me. She added so many extra details to our wedding that I would have never thought of but it made it look so finished and complete. My flowers were so amazing, I was blown away. I would highly recommend working with Alana for your wedding.

Alana is truly amazing! I met her through a suggestions of one of the Brides I was working with and I'm so glad I found her. Alana was great to have idea sessions with. She helped bring together the vintage whimsy I was going for. I had such a wonderful experience working with Alana! I was dreading finding a florist because I live out of state and I was skeptical about planning entirely by phone and email. However, Alana put my mind completely at ease. She promptly responded to my first email and set up a time for us to talk over the phone (note: when you work with Alana, you work with Alana; from the first conversation to the delivery of my bouquet I was in contact with Alana and, for me, establishing that trust and relationship alleviated so much stress). Somehow from my vague descriptions and half-ideas she was able to envision and create the most beautiful, simple and unique flower arrangements. The flowers were exactly what we had discussed and she even exceeded my expectations by providing additional touches here or there (hand calligraphed labels for the bouquets, small mercury glass votives to accent the altar piece, etc.). As pleased as I was with the final product, though, it is the process of working with Alana that makes her the best – by the end I felt like she was an old friend! She was extremely quick to respond to emails and was always more than happy to tweak the plan or discuss additional ideas along the way. She offered suggestions and aided in brainstorming but never put pressure on me to go with one idea or another. She was always affable and made me feel so comfortable when discussing budget (which we stayed well within) and cost-cutting strategies. For example, I decided to make my own bridesmaids’ bouquets as a money saver and Alana wasn’t even fazed – she even offered to accompany me to Whole Foods or to assist in the ordering process if I felt overwhelmed and needed help (I was amazed – I think that is so generous!). I could go on forever, but basically when researching florists if you find yourself thinking “this would be so much easier if I just had a talented, responsible and creative friend who was excellent at making flower arrangements” then call Alana now!
