Victorian railroad museum wedding: Pam + Shane

February 16, 2012

Pam + Shane’s steamy, all aboard, steampunk, Victorian style wedding was recently featured in Savannah Magazine, and it stood out so much that we had to follow up with event designer extraordinaire Elizabeth Demos to see about sharing it here on the our blog. Every detail is so thought out, so unique and perfectly placed – from the typeface for the invitations and escort cards, to the deep purples and steel table decor, even to the corsets. Look closely at this one, the details are endless!

Pam is definitely owning the fishnet stockings, lace up-boots, and a gown custom designed by April Johnston of Mangled Courtesan (and Project Runway star).

You’d think the bottom right photo was taken decades ago, right?

Vintage steel details, and mason jars with decorative paper atop a dark wood table play up the creative side of their theme, while the seating and simple flowers help to accentuate the romantic side of the steampunk era.

Now you’re ready to head off into your weekend full of creative ideas! It’s been an amazing week of weddings, yes? Happy Friday and a big congrats to Pam + Shane!
