Texas ranch wedding planned in 5 weeks: Aimee + Tyler
We love sharing wedding deets like how long it took a couple to plan their day, but it’s always good to keep in mind that what works for one pair may be totally different for the next. Take Aimee + Tyler. Tons of couples are into longer engagements, but after he proposed in New Zealand (on a mountaintop, post 15-mile hike no less), they decided to tie the knot with just five weeks of planning under their belts. Spoiler alert: As you can see in Brooke Schwab‘s photos, the timing was perfect.
Such a fun seating situation, don’t you think?
Aimee donned a Zac Posen gown from Neiman Marcus.
Our bride tells it, I visited Rancho Pillow on a whim, when my good friend Cheryl invited me to a Monica Pope pop-up dinner during Round Top’s Antique Week. The minute I stepped foot on the property, I felt its sense of magic. It only took me about 15 minutes to find the owner Sheila to start asking questions about the possibility of a wedding. It just felt like us—and like home.
Sheila of Rancho Pillow was behind the coordination, styling, and decor too.
Making the decision to plan this wedding fast was the best decision I’ve ever made. It stayed about the things that mattered—me, him, and the people we love the most. It all felt like living in a dream. From celebrating our vows in a field under the Texas sunset to stealing some quiet moments alone in the back of a vintage pickup truck to sharing our first dance on the porch to falling asleep that night in a lavishly decorated teepee, there was a special touch at every turn.
