Rustic fall New York wedding

It’s Thanksgiving week. We spent the morning obsessing over fall tablescapes. These fall ceremony florals are just too gorgeously festive. Are you feeling the love yet? Eric + Christopher described their New York wedding as rustic, rural, and most importantly… festive. So fast we get in the spirit around here! At first they didn’t know if they wanted to enlist help, but having Jove Meyer Events as planner + designer was hands down their best decision. He even helped them land their perfect photog.

A favorite moment… It had to be when we emerged from the Kittle House and crossed the lawn to where we would be married by one of our best friends acting as officiant. Seeing our family and our family of friends assembled together was humbling and overwhelming. And while we waited for legal recognition to be available, these are the people closest to us that have recognized, supported, and championed our 18-year relationship.

This color palette really pops against the natural fall tones, doesn’t it?

Why they chose Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua, NY for their celebration with 90 guests: The rural, rustic setting of the Kittle House, the amazing outdoor space with an overlook of the valley in fall colors, the chef’s use of locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, their amazing wine offerings, and the generous and wonderful staff.

Yeah, no regrets with the Apple cider donuts. Also, as a surprise, Eric asked the chef to prepare Christopher’s favorite dessert, C’s mom’s banana pudding.
