A + C love two things: simplicity and nature. Their style is romantic + minimal, and what better venue to channel those vibes than a park? With a ceremony in a park and a reception in a meadow, the few details that were brought in (like a timeless bridal ensemble and ruffled ombre cake) really stood out to them + their 100 guests. Yes, yes, yes to this Essense of Australia dress. It’s a full, flowing soft organza and tulle skirt with a fitted, lace bodice and sweetheart neckline. The back has fabric buttons that line the skirt and extend to the floor. She adorned it with her grandmother’s veil:
Anna tells it, Our ceremony was at a small amphitheater outside in a park, and our reception was in a tented venue that was in a meadow. We chose both of these places because they felt imitate and allowed us and our guests to enjoy the natural beauty. We used minimal decorations because the setting was beautiful to begin with, and chose white/ivory and grey as our colour scheme, as we knew there was already going to be a lot of natural beauty around us in the park and with the bouquet and centerpieces. As well, after choosing my dress, I wanted soft colors to compliment the soft blush color of the gown. The style of the wedding represented us in the simplicity and romance.

She walked down the aisle to How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding and their first dance song was Ed Sheeran’s Kiss Me.
The best advice I received when planning that I would like to pass on is that at the end of the day, it wasn’t the details I remembered; it was the way I felt as I married my best friend.
