Our new favorite NOLA wedding venue + the first couple to get married there

Hotel Peter & Paul wedding in New Orleans

If you haven’t heard of New Orleans wedding venue, Hotel Peter & Paul, you’re in for a real treat today. Emily + Noah’s beautiful, super festive (yes, there was a traditional NOLA second line parade!) wedding was the first to take place at the reimagined church, school house, and convent. It’s truly such a unique spot, and as you’ll see in the photos Love is Rad and Nice Day shared with us.

Enamored with the bouquets Pistil & Stamen dreamt up for the occasion, aren’t you?

So this venue. So many cool spots for photos, right? Hotel Peter & Paul was formerly a Catholic church and school, and this venue is the result of a four-year renovation. Each of the separate spaces at the venue—the school house, rectory, church, and convent—has its own vibe, with no two guest rooms alike.

Oh, and if you’re simply planning a NOLA getaway, you can book one of the rooms in the schoolhouse, rectory, or convent.

Emily + Noah had guests traveling from all over the country and wanted to give them a classic New Orleans experience, complete with a beautiful church ceremony.

Isn’t this spot so magical!? They designed the ceremony in a circle, and the musicians were able to set up in the surrounding areas.

The church is inside a 9,450 sqft red brick building, originally built in the mid-1800s.

Love how beautifully the flowers complement this historic space!

After the ceremony, E + N paraded from the church to their reception venue with guests following right behind…

Everyone was invited to grab a drink and get marching!

Too fun!

Their reception venue, Capulet Bywater, is a pretty iconic space as well, just ten blocks from the French Quarter. During the week, it’s a restaurant open for lunch, but at night it transforms into a super cool banquet hall that seats up to 250 and offers different options for catering. It also has a massive rooftop space for cocktail hour!

It all takes place in a restored 1800s warehouse with high ceilings and exposed brick.
