First, let’s say that we LOVE the Ojai Rancho Inn. We’ve been ourselves a number of times and it’s so sweet and funky and fun, just like Ojai itself. This wedding shot by Gary Ashley of The Wedding Artist Collective, and planned by the bride, her sister and a friend (!!) totally embodies the spirit of the town and the little inn too.
The entire event was really a collaboration between the couple and their friends and family. Starting with their invites and save-the-dates, both designed by good friends. And continuing on through every part of the party – flowers, music, make-up and hair, the venue itself. Might as well take advantage of creative friends if you have them!
Mostly they wanted the party to feel like a romantic backyard family style BBQ. They definitely nailed it, if you ask us.

Alyssa and her friends bought flowers at the LA Flower Market and arranged them together for the party.
They made sure to celebrate the bounty of Ojai too, with lots of nods to citrus and the outdoors. Even the tables were named things like “Clementine” and “Tangerine”.
So beautiful. What a perfect celebration of the couple and the people they love most.
