Modern bohemian warehouse wedding: Quinn + Dustin

Categories   Real Weddings

There are a ton of unique details that made Quinn + Dustin’s wedding at BRICK in San Diego stand out, but for us it all starts with the color palette: jewel tones and pops of sapphire (inspired by the bride’s engagement ring passed down from her grandmother) up against desert-inspired décor and eclectic accents. Score one for unexpected combos! Thanks to Rad and in Love for sharing:

The bouquet by Isari Flower Studio featured pincushion, blue thistle, grevilleas, echinops, astilbe, kangaroo paws, baby blue eucalyptus, eryngium, astrantia, ranunculus, and poppies

Quinn tells it, We just tried to choose elements we really loved and not necessarily choose a style. My engagement ring was gifted by my grandma and the center stone is a blue sapphire, so I knew I wanted to incorporate pops of blue in the design. The rest kind of fell into place, one choice inspiring the next. We love the desert and living in Southern California we feel so much inspiration from that landscape, so we went with a desert inspired feel. It ended up being this colorful, textural vibe that felt so happy housed within the walls of this cool industrial space. Maybe on paper it sounds like it may not have gone together, but the different styles really complemented each other. See her Pinterest board here!

They also had a cocktail hour before the ceremony that they joined in to greet each of their 155 guests. It was an unexpected surprise that everyone loved, and completely went with their cozy dinner party vibe.

Dustin, a restaurant manager, made the cake, and his mom whipped up the other desserts. Yum!

The bride’s biggest tip? It’s a popular one—hire a coordinator! She says, Francine of Francine Ribeau Events asked us questions about our wedding we never would have thought of and made everything move so smoothly so we could enjoy the entire day.

Congrats, Q + D!
