It’s not every day you see a Vegas wedding pop up here on 100lc. You have to be pretty genius to show off all the quirks that make Las Vegas so epic, but incorporate classic wedding elements like romantic details, lotsa flowers, and little tributes to the couple too. If you’re toying with the idea yourself, look no further than Erin + Chris, who totally pulled it off in their personalized vintage Vegas wedding captured by Gideon Photography.
Despite last minute changes in venues and weather, planner + bridesmaid Courtney of When Pigs Fly Events says the whole thing was incredible: The clouds cleared up 30 minutes into the first look and we lucked out to have spectacular photos and a gorgeous ceremony. It took the heat right out of the Vegas September air. It couldn’t have been more beautiful.

Personal touches for Chris, a scientist + cyclist: bicycle themed artwork + science elements like margarita salt test tubes.
Courtney’s description of the reception:
Guests dined at tables numbered and named for vintage Vegas hotels. Each setting had a fact card about the vintage hotel – Riviera, El Cortez, Stardust, etc – as well as a test tube filled with flavored margarita salts. Layers of Lovely did an outstanding job with the florals, mixing our vision of the desert with found scientific pieces. Test tubes, handpainted succulents, cacti, and proteas created the most incredible centerpieces.
Erin’s must-haves: dancing, tacos, margaritas, Elvis, and lotsa vintage Vegas. The groom’s only request: an ice cream sundae bar. Courtney says, It was a pretty awesome list to work with.
