As if simply making the decision to elope on the cliffs of Santorini wasn’t exhilarating enough, The Secret Owl and Santorini Glam Weddings took everything oh, about, a thousand steps further with this stained glass ceremony. It all has a bit of a vintage glam, Gatsby feel to it, while complementing the natural landscape of the coast. Like the team says, Greece is all about the sweet decadence and opulence of the era, with wild elegance and statement-making! You can’t go wrong with a muse like that, and these photos by George Liopetas prove it:

New kid on the block, Greek designer Crochelle dressed our brides in ethereal two-piece wedding gowns that channel beautiful creature aesthetics, while Poniros provided diamond creations depicting the iconic flora of the island, the Santorini vine into a unique black diamond engagement ring and volcanic flower coordinating pieces.

We suspect we’ll be seeing even more minimalistic florals in weddings this year. Betty Flowers Santorini dreamt up this beauty.

The story behind our beautiful glass structure was originally captured by Julia & Evita, mother and daughter, behind the amazing planning company of Santorini Glam Weddings. The idea was a glasshouse—vitraux—where our beautiful two-bride couple would stand beneath it and because of the well-known Santorinian sun, the light would pass through the glass in all these colors. The iconic Santorini sunset set the tones and palettes where muted mauves meet eggplant, peach, and marigold, joyful citrus and spice accents in pretty cotton silks and clean art deco lines.
