All white modern wedding reception

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! In honor of this most romantic day, we’ve got James + Robynn’s sweet DIY wedding for ya. We’re talking blush wedding dress and handmade bouquets sweet. They softened up their warehouse venue, Six Hundred King in Jacksonville with feminine, modern details, and added a few nods to the groom’s Mexican heritage in a clean, subtle way (hi, pretty white papel picado banners!). And thanks to a lot of simple DIY projects, not to mention talented industry friends like Christina Karst, R + J even pulled it all off for $5K. See how they did it below!

How cute are these kitty cat flats from ASOS?

Robynn says, I met James on Tinder. We talked for about a month before we met in person. He won me over with his charm and lightheartedness. I immediately felt like I could be myself with home more than any other person. He made me feel safe and he was confident that our love would last. After two and a half years, James asked me to marry him in St Augustine in front of the fort.

The bride’s mega gorgeous bouquet was made up of some of our faves: eucalyptus, amaranthus, and king protea.

The bridesmaids all scored their navy dresses from Etsy and the guys rocked suits from Express.

As far as wedding DIYs, pretty much everything you see here was created by the bride and her fam and friends. Robynn + her mom planned the day (enlisting day-of coordination Ashlynn Krall), and all the decor, flowers, and invites were DIY. In fact, they only had a few professional services involved to make their day extra special, like the photography, beauty, catering, and DJ. So impressive!

The clear plates and gold flatware totally make this simple + natural place setting pop, in our opinions!

The bride walked down the aisle to Florence and the Machine’s Stand By Me and their first dance was to Can’t Help Falling in Love.
