Engagement outside of a beautiful West Texas yurt

June 1, 2021
Steven planned a romantic surprise proposal for Bryan, located just outside his Airbnb yurt with views of Big Bend in the background. Campfire, champagne, candles, and dried flowers inspired by West Texas were in order, to celebrate. Their love radiated throughout the engagement session as you can see for yourself below, in these stunning photos from Caitlin Rose Photography

From Steven – “I was so excited to surprise Bryan with a custom Aspen wood ring for the proposal. The ring is made from the same type of Aspen that we love. The Aspen organism has a special meaning to us- an entire forest of them are connected in an elaborate root structure underground. I loved the symbolism of what binds us!”

After the proposal, they had an adventurous engagement session within Big Bend National Park, hiking along the Santa Elena Canyon and chased the sun down the Ross Maxwell scenic drive. Just wow!
