Have been following your blog for quite a few months now, but this is the first time I've posted. Love the idea for using the horse show ribbons (maybe because I'm a horsey girl perhaps?) I just thought I would offer a suggestion that may help. If you have a sewing machine, you can get a pleating foot (or sometimes called a ruffler foot) for your machine. This easily and quickly pleats your ribbon for you, saving lots and lots of time and energy. I use mine all the time to make rosettes for horsey stuff. Well worth the money if you plan on making lots. Will save your fingers too! :)
I'm always looking for new, cute escort card ideas, and these are great! A whole board filled with pinned-up mini ribbons would be gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this project!
Oh, I just adore these! I've made a similar ribbon from paper (http://www.twigandthistle.com/blog/2009/06/stache-bash-part-ii/) but these are so pretty and add that little extra sweetness. Can't wait to give these a try. Thanks for the tutorial!

What a cute tutorial! I've also seen crepe paper versions of these that work really well, but the ribbon is beautiful.
