I think the blossoms are LOVELY, and I think we can find a place for something like that in table arrangements. Regarding the Leis: you do have to be careful not to get crepe paper wet, and to not break a sweat while wearing it...when I was a child, we had a music program that included square dancing, and girls made bonnets with poster board, wallpaper...and crepe paper 'ruffles' along the brim, plus the hats were tied with same crepe paper ribbon. My hat was Avocado Green. So was my neck. Perhaps crepe paper has improved since then, but it might be a good idea to test to see if the color bleeds. if so, white should still work fine.
