I know this is an older post now, but I spotted a link to this on Pintrest and absolutely fell in love with this idea - so simple, so effective. I will definitely consider making some of these to give as gifts xx
Hi Amber,
I used Mod Podge so I could control where I wanted the glue to be placed. It wasn't for environmental reasons. I'm sure any adhesive, that drys clear, will do. Great idea to add the sealer. I didn't and found glitter on my sons nose this morning.
We're so happy everyone enjoyed this tutorial. More fun and easy diy projects to come!
Happy crafting!
I always wonder why everyone uses mod podge instead of spray glue. When I tried mod podge it was messy and uneven. Is it environmental reasons or am I doing something wrong? I would appreciate any answers. Also my glitter vases (about 40) turned out perfect, I did add a sealer afterwards.
These are so pretty! I love the first one!
I did a few last year with just double stick tape that I rolled in glitter. I used different widths of tape for stripes. They came out great! But I love the design possibilities with the mod podge!
