You can never go wrong with an art museum as your wedding venue. You’re surrounded by gorgeous works of art and history and the outdoor courtyards are perfect for a reception. Nisse + Matt got married at The Art Institute of Chicago a year after getting engaged, trying to plan a move from Chicago to Boston, graduate medical school, and start new jobs. Whew! But they did it. And they did it beautifully with the help of photographer, Olivia Leigh. The colors, florals, their ceremony, DIY watercolor escort cards, glittery touches, and desserts… gorgeous!

The Knot Dream Wedding: the cake vote

The Knot Dream Wedding voting began for the sweetest vote of them all.. the cake! Go on over and give your opinion on which cake you think goes best with the modern wintry theme of Sierra and Andre’s wedding. The runners up are (clockwise) Frost, Silver and Sparkle, Sugary Orchids, and Windswept. Our favorite is definitely the Windswept, with that lovely sugar bloom. Yum.
