Finally! We have the cuteness that was The Cream Event to share with you all. As participating members of every Cream Event so far, we can definitely say that this one was by far the biggest, raddest, and most inspiring. There were just so many good things to look at, to eat, to drink… we can’t possibly capture all of it in a series of blog posts. But here’s to trying!

Aww, Kels and Pagie. These girls, always working so hard to bring the rest of us such fun events. The Geronimo Balloon installations were beyond epic. It’s kind of hard to tire of so much beautiful fringe.

Love the vertical lights in the front room. They gave the event such a glamorous, cozy ambience.

The Rue Magazine / Heath Ceramics collaboration made us want to run right home and redecorate.

And we were so super thrilled to finally meet Myra from Twigs & Honey in person! You guys, she’s a doll! And her pieces are even more beautiful in real life. She’s definitely at the top of the bridal headwear game.

An adorable little shop from Urbanic. Their paper pretties are always the bestest.

The Wedding Artists Collective (recently expanded to LA), had an adorable little set up where you could actually meet and talk to the photographers. Excellent idea!

You want an invitation suite that conveys your fun personality and love of design. You bookmark and pin every pretty paper good when you see it. You’ve considered asking a friend to design your invites but have the slight inkling they may not deliver and you fear getting all crazy bride on them. There’s a place you can go to that understands it all – Wedding Paper Divas. Hello, they’ve got “Diva” in their name. They know what they’re talking about!

Their Written in Chalk design is one of our fav’s!

When you go on the site you can let their suggested wording and layout guide you, or you can create a card entirely from scratch with the font types, sizes and colors of your choice. Either way, Wedding Paper Divas will make sure your invitations are flawless! Especially with the addition of their new lustrous Pearl White Shimmer paper with a soft glimmer that adds radiance to all your photos.

Great thing about collaborating with them on your invites: all orders are reviewed, proofread and retouched by an in-house designer, plus you can preview and approve the exact look prior to placing your order.

If you’ve got vibrant colors on the mind, check out their new bright, bold, edgy collection by Stina Persson. And for all things wedding, etiquette and design advice, style inspiration, planning tips and more, bookmark their blog, like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

If you’re lucky enough to find a photography duo that snaps gorgeous photos and shoots video that’s just as stunning (they can be hard to find), book them! Meet Twin Hearts Photography. They find beauty in the subtle moments that might go unnoticed, can teach you how to Dougie (huge brownie points!), and they may or may not have convinced an entire wedding party to jump into a pool with their clothes on – no pressure. We’ll let their work do all the talking!

In between capturing your day, we can almost guarantee they’ll shed a tear at your wedding. That’s what makes them so great – they’re down to earth and would be honored to photograph and make your day last forever…or at least until you book them again to shoot your baby/family portraits!

There’s a floor in every Macy’s that you can walk into with your soon-to-be hubby and scan your future household appliances, and other pretty obsessions away! Or you can do it from the comfort of your home. It’s amazing. From dinnerware to a juicer, to Jonathan Adler, Kate Spade (we could go on) product under the sun – they seriously have it all.

Plus they make it so easy to add anything you can dream of having in your new little home (online, via your phone, or in the store). Bonus: They give you gifts just for getting gifts. Every gift you get from your registry gives you 5% of that purchase price back in your pocket. So that KitchenAid Mixer you’ve been pining for? It retails for $399. Your mom buys it for you and you get 5% of that purchase in your Star Awards account. That’s like getting $20 bucks! Um, yes and thank you.

The perks to registering with Macy’s: Ever try to return a wedding gift to a superstore? Not fun at all. Superstores make it hard to make returns if they go a month after the date of purchase. Macy’s makes it easy peasy. You can return on-line and in-store up to a year after your wedding date (enough time for you to settle into your new abode and figure out what needs to go back), as long as the item is on your registry. And you get back the actual price of the item when it was purchased, not the subsequent sales prices. Love that!

Those beauties above are some of our favorite picks. If you’re loving them and want to add them to your registry asap, head to Macy’s Registry to get started! Happy shopping, Cakelets!

*not valid on any beauty/fragrance purchase. Nor do you get 10% back from furniture if it’s self-purchased. So while you cannot register for furniture at Macy’s, you can use your rewards gift card to purchase that sofa or Karastan rug of your dreams.

Take a look at these two cuties and tell us they don’t have a fab sense of style. It cannot be done. Clara + Eva, founders and team creative directors of Chic Weddings, are a team of eclectic, extravagant, dedicated, passionate, energetic experts in event planning, creative styling and everything Italian. Planning a dreamy destination wedding in Italy? These are your gals! They love their job to bits, are always on the look for cool trends, stylish locations and hidden jewels that can’t wait to share with you. Remember this Italian wedding? Yep, that was all them.

They do everything from sourcing the venue, picking eye-catching stationery, booking an uber-stylish make-up artist, hiring the most entertaining band or coolest DJ, sourcing don’t-leave-behind favours, tracking to-die-for pieces of decor and creating an ambiance that will have you and your guests wishing the day to never end.

You can learn more about them here.
