100 Layer Cake

Brides, if you’re trying to come up with the perfect way to ask your favorite ladies to be your bridesmaids, take note. Host a party and ask them all at once, in style! The concept of this shoot was a “Bridesmaids Picnic” with a very playful, bohemian flair planned and styled by Sterling Social. Charming hand-made wooden boxes were presented to each girl with the words “I Choose You” inscribed on the outside.  Filled with meaningful mementos and whimsical bridesmaid dress swatches, each bridesmaid-to-be was given a heartfelt note from the bride asking them to stand by her side on the wedding day.  The note read…

“Your Role.  I know weddings can become a lot of work for bridesmaids…so let it be known that the honor to have you stand by my side is simply that…an honor!  Your presence and love you have always shown me throughout our friendship is all I need.  As my bridesmaid your only role is to feel beautiful, hold some gorgeous flowers, make unbelievable memories with me, wipe away my happy tears, and understand how much your presence on this day is appreciated.  Always know how grateful I am to call you family and realize how much I love you.  Basically, you are standing by my side because you have made me the happiest, luckiest girl just by being you and being a part of my life!  You’re a part of my heart and forever will be…my one and only request is to have a blast, laugh, dance and make sure that in all the commotion on this magical day you pull me aside to share a moment between you and I.  A moment that I want with you on my wedding day…and one I will never forget and will always cherish.”
