You want an invitation suite that conveys your fun personality and love of design. You bookmark and pin every pretty paper good when you see it. You’ve considered asking a friend to design your invites but have the slight inkling they may not deliver and you fear getting all crazy bride on them. There’s a place you can go to that understands it all – Wedding Paper Divas. Hello, they’ve got “Diva” in their name. They know what they’re talking about!

When you go on the site you can let their suggested wording and layout guide you, or you can create a card entirely from scratch with the font types, sizes and colors of your choice. Either way, Wedding Paper Divas will make sure your invitations are flawless! Especially with the addition of their new lustrous Pearl White Shimmer paper with a soft glimmer that adds radiance to all your photos.

Great thing about collaborating with them on your invites: all orders are reviewed, proofread and retouched by an in-house designer, plus you can preview and approve the exact look prior to placing your order.

If you’ve got vibrant colors on the mind, check out their new bright, bold, edgy collection by Stina Persson. And for all things wedding, etiquette and design advice, style inspiration, planning tips and more, bookmark their blog, like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

Dressed up with a floral skirt, or done casual over a pair of patterned leggings—what’s better—or more elusive—than the perfect T Shirt? No matter how much shopping you do, having the ideal Ts in your closet is a perpetually daunting task. Apparently Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen understand this quest too, which is why they’ve launched StyleMint: a new membership-only, e-commerce site that offers amazing T Shirts for the wonderfully affordable price of $29.99. It’s a preposterously good deal and perfectly executed, just as we’d expect from this high-fashion duo.

StyleMint is offering 100 Layer Cake readers 20% off your first T for first time buyers only, valid only until Feb 29. Enter promo code “CAKE20″ to receive your discount.

As for how StyleMint works, it’s simple. When you first sign up, you answer a short series of questions about your personal style. Once you’re done with the quiz, you can choose from one of four T Shirt styles, many of which are available in multiple colors. If you don’t see a shirt you like, it’s no problem because there’s no obligation to buy. If you do find the perfect option (or two, or three!), you get free shipping, plus returns are easy. Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen design each T Shirt, and we have to say that the results are totally chic and definite must-buys. Everything is extremely high quality too—think: super-soft fabrics and amazing fits—so you’re certain to find the perfect piece for you. Membership is free, but the T Shirts do sell out, so be sure to sign up to StyleMint today: your wardrobe and wallet will thank you!

The second you announce that you’re engaged, you know what happens? Your friends instantly think, VEGAS! That was then. Now, the bachelor/bachelorette festivities have evolved from a one-nighter to a weekend-long retreat, in the best way possible. Dreaming up a sophisticated soirée or a raucous all-night affair – Jetsetter has a destination (and a room) for you (and your entourage). Taken into consideration that your party is already spending a pretty penny on their dresses, travel costs and gifts, we’ve kept our picks strictly domestic.

Let’s talk New York: From dive bars to karaoke joints, to chichi rooftop lounges, there’s nothing you can’t find in this city. A classy affair with afternoon tea and cocktails at Bemelmans is sweet – or, for something more affordable, but still sophisticated go for manis and martinis at Beauty Bar.

Where to Stay: Thompson Hotel’s 6 Columbus brings a bit of downtown cool to Columbus Circle. Think shag pile rugs, Eero Saarinen furniture and sexy prints by Vogue photographer, Guy Bourdin. Stay on the premises for sashimi and sake at Blue Ribbon Sushi – or head to the indoor/outdoor bar for scotch (there are more than a dozen to choose from) with a view.

Let’s talk Arizona, (Scottsdale to be exact): Scottsdale is known for its posh resorts, sybaritic spas and world-class golf — not to mention spectacular hiking, giant saguaros and Frank Lloyd Wright. During sauna-like summer season (June through September), stick to indoor pastimes – art galleries, John Wayne-like taverns, pampering massages – but during peak season, grab your mates and make the trek to the top of Camelback Mountain.

Where to Stay: The southwestern-themed Hermosa Inn sits on six acres and has gorgeous gardens and views of Camelback Mountains. Most of its 32 casitas are outfitted with freestanding pedestal tubs (for leisurely post-hike soaks).

Let’s talk Napa: It’s hard to argue with this hotbed of chardonnays and merlots. In addition to world-class wineries, Napa has a thriving food scene, not to mention those vine-covered landscapes. Intersperse wine tastings (don’t miss Hess, which has a contemporary art museum and excellent cabs) and locally sourced meals with a bike tour and downward dog sessions at Ubuntu.

Where to Stay: The contemporary-chic Bardessono’s best asset may be its location in downtown Yountville (where Thomas Keller has three restaurants, including Bouchon, a must for morning lattes and chocolate croissants). The eco-friendly hotel also has a supply of carbon fiber bikes (complimentary), a rooftop pool and easy access to wineries (a few within stumbling distance).

If you want to hear about more locations, or need help with your planning, Jetsetter’s Experts are standing by to put together the ultimate getaway!

Let 2012 be the year you add metallic to your wedding invitations to glam them up! The talented team at the Bella Figura letterpress shop now offers gorgeous, to-die-for foil stamping and foil edging. Go with the classics – metallic bronze, silver, gold, or brighten things up with fushia, indigo or teal. And because no envelope should be left plain, they also offer metallic envelope liners, shiny metallic pocketfolds, and metallic envelopes. Check out all the pretty they have to offer!

Why Bella Figura is your go-to place for letterpress wedding invitations:

They have over 300 designs from 31 incredibly talented indie designers and calligraphers. They’re a wind-powered, carbon neutral print shop. They print sustainably on luxuriously thick 100% cotton paper made from reclaimed fibers (it’s tree-free and made exclusively for them by a 500-year-old European paper mill!). And their designers are always sharing their inspiration + tips on the Bella Figura blog. They’re now on Pinterest, too!

In between capturing your day, we can almost guarantee they’ll shed a tear at your wedding. That’s what makes them so great – they’re down to earth and would be honored to photograph and make your day last forever…or at least until you book them again to shoot your baby/family portraits!
