Love this simple, airy inspiration styled and shot at a horse farm. Ahhhh to be eating outside under spanish moss and chandeliers. It really doesn’t get old, these sorts of places. Jason and Jessica are getting married at Barrington Hill Farm a few months from now, which made them the perfect pair for this shoot.

The whole feeling is so warm and sultry and romantic. Definitely makes us want to plan a party here.

!

Pretty paper, pretty dress, hay bale table. Mmmm.

Laser engraved art deco maple escort cards!

Right??? Really pretty, everyone involved! Such a beautiful evening.

A few months ago, Amanda got to jet set off to Turks & Caicos for a long weekend of island time, getting to know Martha Stewart’s Tropical Wedding Packages. The island, the scenery, the scuba diving and sailing were all 100% gorgeous. And Martha has a perfect set up for brides who just want to relax into their wedding weekend, rather than get lost in the pretty (but very time consuming!) details.

Wouldn’t it be fun to gather your close family and friends for a week of vacation around your wedding? Just pure, unadulterated celebration and relaxation. And the Beaches Resorts are super family-friendly, so your nieces and nephews will have tons and tons to do.

Here are two examples of the wedding packages they offer. Plus some pretty scenery to get you in the mood.

It’s like this: If you’re going to pay someone to take care of all the details for you, it might as well be Martha and it might as well be on a tropical beach. Right?

Jillian recently collaborated with a bunch of talented vendors to create a Southern-style wedding inspiration shoot for Southern Weddings. They contacted their favorite bloggers and designers to put together a shoot to show that the Southern style and also be modern, fun, and accessible to anyone, no matter what the location.

They chose a vintage modern 1920′s Gatsby theme… in Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Botanica to be exact.

Gorgeous paper (and a poster invite!) by Erica of Thoughtful Day and our favorite calligraphy from Love♥Jenna.

Two Man Gentleman Band – we clearly clearly love you!

And forget about cupcakes and donuts… for a southern wedding, one must build a biscuit bar!

Such a beautiful creation, everyone involved! We’re so excited we were able to share it.

Morning, cakelets! Last week was a bit crazy around here prepping for Hitched, which was like easily the cutest thing we’ve ever attended. Those of you who stopped by to say hi, it was so great to meet you! We can’t tell you how exciting it is to actually meet people in person who read our blog. We have tons of projects to show you, and eventually of course we’ll show the official event photos, but we need another day to get those rolling. And if you check back in a few hours, we’ll have a little peek of the event ready to share. So for now, how about a super cute farm wedding to start the week?

Marissa and Caleb went crazy with the details and projects, all of which are great. But the venue really shines. Farm, barn, old stone foundation-y type thing. It’s all pretty amazing. And then there’s the “entrance” to their ceremony that they built themselves. Plenty of handmade details to reflect their individual taste and interests, thanks to this very crafty bride and her very crafty friends.

AND they only had four months to plan because they wanted to be married on their five year dating anniversary. You see? Anything is possible with proper inspiration and helpful friends!

Marissa made these genius invitations herself. Yes, that is a playlist on digital vinyl, and yes, those are owls. Very cute, right?

Taking the guestbook to the next level with “leaf” thumbprints on a giant poster, courtesy of their illustrator friend Daniel Bressette. What an awesome thing to be able to hang in your home, too. Oh – & adorable fabric hankies for tears of joy. How cute.

Wait, and a map of the wedding itself. Mmmmmm.

And of course they even have giant grasshoppers in attendance.

Here’s that super amazing vintage wooden entrance we mentioned. Is that not the perfect way to enter an outdoor wedding? Bonus – it was built by her uncle.

It really doesn’t get more vintage than ancient stone walls- what a brilliant choice for a reception location.

Well hello, little cake toppers! Aren’t you silly and cute?

Ahh, the night photos. Enchanting, don’t you think?

The perfect way to end a completely captivating and magical day.  Love every bit of it, Marissa & Caleb.

How sweet is this Burgundian wedding, sent to us by the lovely photog Jen Altman. It’s full of all kinds of rich details with a heavy influence on French wine & dining, perfect considering the couple, Laurent & Kendall, met in Burgundy while the bride, an American, was studying wine. The bride and her mother (Marjorie of The Cook’s Atelier, a cooking school & supper club), went totally hands-on with everything here- from styling to designing and DIYing

How stunning is that chapel? And those car shots – undeniably adorable, like it was straight out of a French indie film.

Enjoying delectable and organic food and wine was super important to these two, not just for the menu but for the favors – they handed out cute little heirloom tomato plants fresh from their fave local producer.

This luminous reception might be our fave part of all.  It is completely idyllic – I mean, it doesn’t get more warm, cozy or romantic than candlelight in France, right?!

Excellently done, Laurent and Kendall. Or shall we say, magnifique!
