The promise of summer has us daydreaming about outside parties and bright colors. These colors are so yummy and modern and fun all at once, aren’t they?

We can totally imagine a wedding or party using all of the elements in the actual board. The photo backdrop, popsicles, peonies, gold leafed carafes… it’s all so inviting.

Seafoam green goes good with, well… everything. It may as well be a mandatory color for Spring. When paired with white and bright yellow floral arrangements and placed underneath a crystal chandelier, in a hidden modern day secret garden in Vero Beach, Florida, it’s quite the romantic set-up. Lara Fiorelli of Lara’s Theme Events dreamt up one of the most inviting tablescapes, Peach Leaf Paperie designed a bright lemon yellow invitation suite, and the collaborative team behind Vitalic Photo shot it all. Step in and be inspired!

That little spot is just right for an intimate wedding, tea party bachelorette party, or birthday dinner!

We swear we’ve had this dream before. Pretty paper goods, a white horse, flowers in our hair… It sounds like Sabina of Bliss & Chic Photography had it too because she came to us with this bridal shoot, inspired by an antique medieval revival wedding dress with a super long train that she bought at an estate sale. “It always reminded me of Genevieve out of the Arthurian legend and thought it would be great to do an ethereal and mythical shoot with a white horse!” Let’s take a gander, shall we?

With a tail that long we’re convinced this pretty horse used to be a unicorn. Can you believe that tail?

We love seeing when photographer + stylists create a reality out of a vision they had from seeing a certain color, painting, or in this case, a dress. Thanks to everyone involved!

Our sweet tooth is obviously acting up today because there are pretty cakes everywhere you look on the blog. But that’s expected, with Easter coming this weekend and chocolate bunnies, cupcakes, and pastel candies covering aisles of the grocery store. This pretty three tiered vanilla cake though? It’s an exclusive peek from the Pastel Pretty chapter in Amy’s Atlas’ new book, Sweet Designs. Amy’s a baking and crafting stylist that loves to entertain in the most beautiful way, so we can only imagine what the other sweet pages of her book will look like. Pre-order it here and keep checking Amy’s blog as she releases more exclusive photos from her new book photographed by Johnny Miller!

Let’s talk cake! We’re all about featuring fashion collections that inspire your wedding attire, accessories that are perfect for your vintage, elegant, quirky, insert your theme here, wedding, and diy projects that will make your decor pop. And then this happened: we stumbled upon Charm City Cakes’ 2012 Summer Collection, jaws dropped, we became giddy with excitement, and had to share! Guys, these cakes are something else. Too pretty to eat? Maybe, but they’re phenomenal!

We love how they each look like they have their own personality. Which one is screaming your name?
