We’re so beside ourselves with excitement right now. The most beautiful cake plates and domes, from Bountiful on Abbot Kinney in Venice, are in the Pop-Up Shop! This is the first time Bountiful has ever sold them below retail and this deal is 100% exclusive to the next few days on our site. Did we mention there are limited quantities? Are you clicking yet??!!!

These are seriously amazing. We’re quite certain that every single one of you could use at least one in your serving ware collection (we know we could!). And um, they are a gorgeous part of any wedding dessert spread! We posted photos of the shop and Sue Balmforth’s unbelievable cake plate art in March, but we thought we’d tempt you with a few new ones we’ve snapped while preparing for this sale.

Even the store front is inspiring:

And just for good measure, more unbelievable stacks:

And they just so happen to be featured in this month’s InStyle Magazine. How serendipitous! Not that we necessarily look to dear Paris for decor tips, but the styling of the shoot is super cute!

So, um, why are you still reading this post? You should staking your claim in the Pop-Up Shop!

Today’s wedding is so marvelous that we couldn’t wait to share it with you all to start the week. The unexpected contrast between the high-end sophistication and elegance of the venue, paralleled with elements of fantasy and whimsical details in this London wedding are such a fun diversion from so many weddings we see!

The couple has asked that they not be shown in today’s feature, so out of respect to them we have chosen to focus on the details. No worries, there is so much to see here folks that you’ll hardly miss seeing an image of the dress – we promise!

We could never imagine the Carlton Club, a historic clubhouse in St. James, Mayfair, oozing with priceless pieces of historical art could be transformed to what you’ll see in the photos below!

Hundreds of grey balloons bundled together with an underlying neon lighting equals major WOW factor!

Are the details killing you yet? Fiona Leahy, extraordinary event designer, who knocked this wedding to an entirely new level of fantastic had the bride to thank for much of the concept. It’s not hard to collaborate with a bride when she’s got amazing taste, so Fiona found it easy to channel the bride’s aesthetic with a downplayed elegance, shades of grey and hundreds of flowers that were displayed to look as though they had been plucked from a dream meadow.

For the dinner tables, Fiona wanted it to look like they had raided a Grand Uncles country home and used all the family silver in an unexpected way. She looked to using trophies, condiment sets, magnifying glasses and all other beautiful objects that can often be seen in cupboards.

Um, hello! We want Amber and Nisha of The Broken Hearts to DJ our next party. These ladies look like they know how to bring it!

To be a guest at this wedding, right? There’s no denying that this wedding is by far one of the most unique we’ve ever seen. The concept is entirely original, makes us feel as though we’ve stepped into both Alice in Wonderland and The Young Victoria, and reminds us how much we love weddings! A huge thank you to Dorothée and Annabel of Belathée Photography for sharing their amazing talent and Fiona Leahy for giving us a glimpse into what went into designing this wedding.

It’s Friday, we’re in a fabulous mood with this three-day weekend ahead of us, so we’re going to do something a little different today. We’re going to share a birthday partay! When Alec Vanderboom sends you an event it’s pretty hard to say no to sharing it, and we thought you’d all love this birthday party for Ashley of we are the parsons. It’s perfect inspiration for any event you might be planning, wedding included!

Backyard Birthday Party

The mastermind behind this soiree? Jeremy, Ashley’s husband and second half of photography duo, we are the parsons. The bio on their site is a must read. It’s silly, heartfelt and will give you a glimpse into the fun life and love they have for each other and their two sons, referred to as “the brothers”.

With the help of all their friends coming together, Jeremy pulled off such a memorable event. We can only imagine the incredible woman Ashley must be! Thanks for capturing this celebration so perfectly Alec. You have us looking forward to throwing parties like this in the long Summer nights ahead. Happy birthday Ashley!

We’ve got such a treat for you this morning! The perfect breakfast in bed wedding (if you happen to be reading this in your pj’s). People always say they love breakfast so much they can eat it at all hours of the day, right? Well, this is what happens when bride, Missy, loves it so much she makes it the theme to her wedding. Such an original idea, executed flawlessly, and we promise it will have you looking twice!

Can we just stop and admire those amazing floral robes by Plum Pretty Sugar?  What a great way to tie in your wedding colors throughout every detail!

One of the best accessories a bride can have by her side (aside from her new hubby), has got to be bridesmaids, done up with fabulous hair and dressed in Sarah Seven. Easy.

Guests were greeted at the top of the hill under a large oak tree with a Coffee Bar, complete with old tea cups and biscotti to snack on before & during the ceremony.

We’re pretty much in love with her Jenny Lee dress. Not too long, but yet short enough to show off those sparkly Miu Miu pumps.

The reception was a small intimate gathering overlooking the vineyards complete with a Mimosa Bar, Omelet Station, and an abundance of blueberry muffins, scones, and biscuits.

Now that we have you reconsidering having an evening wedding, go ahead and skim through this one again. We’re sure you’ll find more details to love that you didn’t see the first time. Congrats Missy & Chad, your wedding has been extremely inspiring!
