To set the mood for the day One Plus One Design created quilt inspired invites that showcased a cute and clever illustration of  ”Olive”, the mobile shop + trailer that served as their backdrop. Those cute bridesmaid button sets were made by One Plus One Design and can be bought here.

Can we be invited next time? This party looks like the ultimate bonding experience for a bride and her gal pals.

Jenna Rae of Jenna Rae Cakes added flavour to the day by guiding everyone through a DIY cake decorating party.  To top off their cakes the ladies at Weddings in Winnipeg created glitter animals (you can see the DIY tutorial from Martha Stewart here) a pom pom straw and stick toppers.

We thought you’d all like to see a few photos from the events, courtesy of two very lovely photographers: Jen Huang in NYC and Annie McElwain in LA.

The ladies at Benefit made our events so much fun. They truly love what they do and they’re really excellent make-up artists! Plus Benefit products are top notch, beautifully packaged and always make you look gorgeous.

Little Miss Party did a bang up job with the treats and flowers for the NYC event. Those cake pops are by Kreated by Kristan. So super cute!

And is any party really complete without a Geronimo Balloon Trooper?!! NO. Which is why Jihan sent a few over for our events. She’s such a doll, really. And her balloons were perfect for a girlie party.

In LA, Früute provided a wildly delicious display of bite size tarts. Weren’t they amazing? OMG. Each one is like a little work of art.

Such a fun night. Thank you so much Benefit for making this all happen! You ladies who are looking for a fun party for your ‘maids (or even just your friends!), Benefit would be such a fun spot. Or if you’re past that and just looking for some guidance with your wedding day look, they LOVE getting brides ready to walk down the aisle.

Thanks again for coming out, ladies! We hope we can see more of you at our next event.

The feel of this shoot was very casual and intimate, yet packed with detail and personality. We used shades of white on white with honey colored accents to create a very light and layered fresh morning look. All paper products were created on vintage letter press machines, flowers were locally sourced, and cotton, wheats, millets packed with peony and ranunculus, plus a bundle of homemade donuts completed our brunchtopia!

Our goal was to create something new using something old. We combined vintage milkglass, mix-matched china, striped paper straws, ceramic fruit crates, paper garland, and a table runner of cotton bolls.

The styling was done by Romi of Bo Peep Productions, and we love, love all the crisp white and delicate, rustic details like the beautiful tarnished silver teapots. Hello Naomi went all out with the sweets, which are beyond amazing looking – vanilla bean buttercream cake, cake pops, vanilla + coconut macarons, scones, profiteroles, belgian white chocolate rocky road, lemon glazed knot cookies, white chocolate apples and finally, sponge rolls. Toooo good.

Each guest was also asked to bring a vintage tea set trio (cup, saucer, and cake plate) as a gift to the bride. The end result is the most eclectic and beautiful special tea set that she can use forever and ever. Could you imagine? What a perfect idea!

As a sweet and unique little favor, the ladies were able to create their own special bath tea using a variety of provided ingredients (or by following their suggested recipes!) They had all kinds of yummy, tantalizing ingredients like oatmeal, lavender, rose petals, goats milk powder, lemon verbena, epsom salts, and more essential oils than you could dream of. Each bag was heat sealed & returned to the guest to take home. Ah! We want one!

Their pretty shower is full of bubbly rosé, decadent pastries, birds, eggs, pretty pretty flowers and bffs. Perfect afternoon, if you ask us.

So pretty! Love the crystal and tarnished silver and rustic linens. And the shot of all the ladies in the alley with their champagne. See, you don’t need a fancy venue to have a pretty party. Your little patio or even front yard will do!
