What’s the best way to pull off a Great Gatsby inspired affair? How about a venue that opened the year before Fitzgerald published the novel? As an ode to the incredible era that was the 1920s, Samantha of Congressional Country Club wanted to channel the mood in their own historic space, and East Made Event Company gave it all a little modern flair (hello, sparkly BHLDN gowns!). To add some romance and color to the shoot, Sweet Root Village created a fluffy, extra-wide centerpiece table runner and bouquet with peach Juliet roses and large peonies. Evoke Calligraphy mimicked our whimsical confetti toss on the confetti dot invitation suite. The chefs at Congressional created a lavish menu with appetizers of charcoal roasted baby beets and local chicken fried oyster, and a main course of persillade crusted rack of lamb, with berry-themed dessert shooters at our “berry bar” for dessert.
Those sure are some picture perfect flowers right there.
