Weddings sent this one our way, we were reminded of *just* how long it’s been since we focused solely on the Mr. and his crew. Their whole concept was all about drawing inspiration from the unexpected, with LA’s Hinoki & the Bird as their backdrop + floral details from Running Wild Florals. Lends itself ever so marvelously to a more masculine wedding theme, no?
Designer Layne of WINK! Weddings explains, Pulling incredible pieces from The Ark, we utilized ceramic stoneware, bone flatware, moonlight rocks glasses, and marble saltcellars filled with handcrafted volcanic black salts. Each place setting was topped with a gauzy, barely there, grey napkin and tied with blue leather cording and specially sourced wooden beads. The table was accented with edgy, asymmetrical floral arrangements in stone vessels filled with florals that felt moody, sexy, and sophisticated. The idea of using masculine textures with a mixture of unique florals and limited color pops was really appealing to us and couldn’t have been more striking in the final product.
