Historic Florida garden wedding: Stacy + Art

October 21, 2015

This is Stacy + Art. Aren’t they darling? Wowed by the trees at their Florida venue, The Glen, they knew it was *the* spot for I Do in a romantic garden setting. So they worked with coordinator Flutter Fete to pull off a most romantic celebration for 115 with a budget of 30k. Guys, their blush, gold, and gray color story is absolutely divine along with those tall trees and soft photographs Flora + Fauna sent our way…

Swoon, much? Emily Riggs ‘Claire’ is one of the loveliest gowns around with delicate beaded flowers, a plunging neckline, and a skirt made of two layers of champagne silk and two layers of champagne tulle.

Stacy says, My favorite moment was our ceremony. We had done a first look before the ceremony so when we were up there the nerves were gone. Our good friend Taylor officiated the wedding and that felt so natural to us. We had him speak on behalf of one another and got to hear something each of us said about the other. It was my favorite part of the whole day. At the end our guests cheered to us with drinks and drinks we provided at the ceremony site. Oh, and their wedding tunes were Dashboard Confessional’s Stolen for the aisle + the vintage 1950’s We Can’t Stop Miley Cyrus cover.

A few words from Danielle of, Flutter FeteFrom the beginning, Stacy and Art weren’t interested in the typical wedding bells and whistles. It was important to translate their laidback style into the wedding design, which we pulled off with rustic florals, mismatched bridesmaids, farm tables, lanterns, a vintage lounge, barbecue feast, and fun details like their “fun facts” cocktail napkins. Their first date was on a tandem bike, so we created their logo around that bit of their story. The overall vibe was very relaxed with everyone splitting their time between the dance floor and photo booth, as they should!
