Romantic bridal bouquet

Happy almost weekend, friends! Did this bouquet by Carla Kayes Floral Design make your heart skip a beat? We’ve got lots more romantic blooms in the photos Jenna Joseph shared, as well as a few tips from the team at Tres Chic Affairs on pulling off a modern romantic wine country wedding of your own:

When it comes to choosing colors, opt for a palette like mixed purple hues and soft blues to give a natural setting a little added elegance.

The cypress trees around Avensole Winery in Temecula Wine Country made the space reminiscent of a Tuscan vineyard, but Carla added weaving dogwood branches for an even more light and airy feel. Make sure to keep the details organic and natural to achieve this look!

Molly of Tres Chic Affairs also infused fine art details into the natural space. She says, We wanted to play with various fine art elements: the hand painting of the cake, the marble and brass tabletop elements mixed with natural stone, frosted acrylic and menus printed on fabric. I loved incorporating so many different mediums that worked so effortlessly together.

While the natural landscape set the tone, it was the deep colors and different textures that brought a modern edge to the design. Props to Laura Marie’s Cakes on this handpainted cake!

Our models were actually a soon to be married couple and clients of mine which made it even more fun to play off of their chemistry and the fact that the bride Lauren of Sip Dine Design has grown up in the vineyard life and currently does marketing for many of the local wineries as well as running a travel, food, and wine blog.

Thanks to Jenna JosephTres Chic Affairs, and the talented crew below for showing us how to bring modern elegance to a vineyard venue!
