All white sophisticated Cinco de Mayo party ideas + a margarita recipe
What do you all have planned for Cinco de Mayo this weekend? This sweet “gather at our table” themed spring soiree from our pals at Bash Please and Andrea Posadas Creative (complete with tablescape DIY ideas and a tasty white peach margarita recipe) makes for one sophisticated spin on the day’s festivities. Wouldn’t mind seeing this translated to a bridal shower or early summer brunch, while we’re at it!
The team explains, A simple branch installation above our table helped frame our gathering. Toasting with rosé and white peach margaritas in coupes, we enjoyed, nibbled and shared our day together. We love an unexpected element to a party, so we used a bench as a display table, with a beautiful arrangement by Marigold, candles and some snacks.
We’re all about adding a DIY element to any tablescape for a personal touch. The Bash Please team cut their own napkin ties from soft white leather that was then wrapped around each one. And don’t the paper details by Refine make the table look extra polished, too?
The party took place at a private home in Mill Valley, California, which was perfect for a clean, fresh palette. Think whites, soft stones, neutrals and terra-cotta accents.
They made blossom and jasmine ice cubes. And you know it’s a good party when even the water is pretty!
Cheese: Cypress Grove Humbolt Fog / Point Reyes Toma / Bellwether Farm Carmody / Andante Dairy Minuet triple cream / Tamales Farmstand Kenne
Salumi: Anise salame, crespones, felino, truncan salame with Parkside Bakery baguette / Castelvetrano olives / tangy pickles / roasted almonds
Matching the fashion to the decor is always a win in our books!
