Bright, modern wedding at The Fig House

The Fig House wedding

Whenever a wedding at The Fig House pops up in our inboxes like this one shot by onelove photography, we kinda assume the couple is creative and stylish right off the bat. We know, assumptions are bad. Buuuut we haven’t been wrong yet, and we’ve got Ross + Joanne’s day to back us up.

The invites and the himmeli you’ll see later on were both DIY touches. Joanne explains, Our himmeli shapes added to the florals/candles on the tables, and also hung from the alter. DIY a piece of your wedding if you can; our custom wedding invitation design and himmeli felt really special because we helped create them.

In peony heaven over here thanks to Shindig Chic… J says, Shindig Chic created the most gorgeous florals with peonies and they were a joy to work with. I was especially obsessed with the florals for our alter and the Welcome sign which we plan to hang in our home.

They channeled the venue by taking a cue from its stained glass windows and incorporating the geometric shapes with the coral, teal, and gold color palette.

On their fave moments… It was the groom’s idea to write our own vows to each other and they ended up being our favorite part of the day. So many guests said it was their favorite part as well!

Congrats to Joanne + Ross!

Beautiful wedding, I'm in love with peonies! That backdrop necklace is really gorgeous too, really makes the simple dress look stunning.

Beautiful wedding. The coral, teal, and gold color palette really brightens up the atmosphere.
