Moody Spring wedding inspiration
This is for all the brides- and grooms-to-be that aren’t quiiiite sure how to pull all their interests into *one* design. Working with the beautiful Swedish American Hall in San Francisco, Jesse of Alison Events and Emily of Shotgun Floral Studio dreamed up a spring theme that combines moody vibes + bright, cheerful tones. We’re thinking the results probably had something to do with those killer florals Suzanna Scott Photography documented throughout, and all the yummy food + drinks. (Don’t get us started!)
Did your jaw just drop? Might wanna open a tab for LOHO Bride…
Jesse’s vision was to brighten the masculine and moody wood-filled space using pops of bright color found in textiles, a custom invitation suite by Yonder Design, linens, and candles. The look is vibrant, modern, and unique. Jesse found design inspiration from photographs by Steven Meisel and color inspiration from fashion designer Mara Hoffman. Mrs. Peasy provided a selection of vintage and rare china, flatware, glassware, napkins and napkin rings from her collection to decorate the tabletop.
A great space for that Bright Rentals lounge to adorn… The property itself was originally built in 1907 and designed by Swedish architect August Nordin, who designed 300+ buildings in San Francisco.
Have we mentioned that a dimly lit room + bold floral arrangements next to a big window is kinda one of our favorite scenes?
Kudos to the talented crew below for merging such unique wedding ideas.
