H + B are the cutest couple and have such a sweet story. They’d been friends for awhile before they started dating and Brian always said if he had the chance he’d sweep her off her feet he would. An inseparable bond and a few years later, he proposed inside an ice castle in Breckenridge, Colorado with a diamond that belonged to his grandmother. Then they got matching tattoos with the coordinates of that locale and planned this gorgy celebration Something Gold Photography sent our way:

Isn’t Something Gold’s photo style so dreamy? They knew she was the one after seeing a few snaps, and everything was a breeze from there.

Heather says, We wanted our wedding to be extremely welcoming and show both sides of our different personalities. I also wanted something romantic, personable, and intimate. We decided on the Magnolia after entertaining the thought of a destination wedding in the mountains and touring a handful if not more local venues. As soon as we walked in the Magnolia I knew it was the perfect place and had a vision for it.

We drew our eclectic inspiration from timeless vintage pieces such as heirloom silver platters, mismatched milk glass, countless dainty teacups illuminated with candlelight, oil burning lamps and vintage lace tablecloths and doilies. We curated all of the décor and flower vessels either from family members or local antique stores. I had dreamed of planning my own wedding ever since I worked at a bridal shop, and I began the long process of piecing my dream together. Our main color was navy with accents of mercury glass and fresh blooms. The florist Emerson Events & Design was someone who I always wanted to work with, and she made my vision come to life.
