So excited to end the week on this sweet note – the surprise proposal of our intern Eunice that happened just last weekend! She’ll tell you all about it after you press play…
I thought I was setting my sister up on a date with a friend named Daniel – a talented photographer, videographer, musician! I was so excited and thought I was being so sneaky for not telling her and in a sense ambushing her. Before dinner, we made a coffee stop to meet Daniel where my sister said she wanted to show me a project she had been working on. As I started to casually watch the film, I grew more and more confused. I was finally led to Eddie where he sat me down and sweetly proposed to me – I was in such utter disbelief that I even had to call my dad to confirm! My shock continued to escalate as I was led to our friends’ root beer joint, Float, where all my closest friends were waiting with sparklers!
The details of the night were breathtaking. My sister and our close friend Regina planned out all the subtle details that made the night even more magical: magnetic bottle cap name tags for the guests, magically hanging taffy from the ceiling, burlap bunting strewn all across the shop, and even a personalized flag painted with our initials hanging on the post of the door. I am so thankful for God leading me to the man of my dreams and for such amazing and talented friends! It truly was a perfect night of happiness, fun, dancing and amazing root beer floats! Thanks honey, love you dearly.
