Mae Mae Paperie’s new wedding invitation collections!

March 21, 2012

We spent Saturday afternoon wandering through Mae Mae Paperie‘s trunk show and gorgeous new line at Urbanic in Venice. You guys, um, it’s really divine. Fresh color combos, beautiful custom patterns, all sorts of customization options, not to mention each collection has its own personality and backstory … we’re in love. Megan is a truly talented designer and artist and we just know that anyone choosing an invite suite from her new line will be making an exceptionally good decision.

Here’s a little peek at the trunk show:

And without further ado, meet Mae Mae’s new collections and adoring personalities … starting with the fabulous Dakota (the mermaid of the bunch):

It has that hint of, “Hey, our wedding may or may not be at the beach, but you’re not going to see any seashells here!”.

Let’s see what Drake (the guy that knows every dance step) has to say:

All you English Lit/Great Gatsby/1920s lovers, we have a feeling this one’s for you! Classic! Anyone else think that liner would make for a heck of a wallpaper? Us too.

Now the lovely Hermie is going to take stage:

These are the sweetheart invitations you’ve been dreaming about since you were a little girlie. The touch of bold pink knocks it out for us! This Hermie – she knows how to party in style.

Watch out Hermie, here comes the oh-so pretty Marlowe (Robin Hood’s long lost sister):

The bright yellow has us thinking dessert, modern Palm Springs-esque wedding, while the green pattern has us wanting to escape to the woods and celebrate outdoors. What’s a Marlowe to do?

The dapper Oswald (who single-handedly made driving gloves cool again) has something to contribute:

The graphics hit hard on this one and that’s what we’re loving most about this suite. For the modern couple that doesn’t want to go to fem, stay neutral, while making a statement. We dig.

For your romantic side, here’s Quimby:

Mae Mae describes Roxy as the girl that loves to eat and wear coconuts:

Roxy’s retro-inspired glam has us wanting to pack our bags and hit the beach with a bloody mary in hand.

We’re officially obsessed with every personality in each collection. You can see more amazing collections on Mae Mae’s blog today as she reveals each new one! And, we’re dying to know: which collection is calling your name?
