Some of our favorite engagement sessions are the ones with little to no props. You, your lovebug, the outdoors, and a photographer that loves capturing the little moments when you forget they’re there will guarantee you amazing photos. Since Amy + Greg were planning on a formal downtown wedding affair, they wanted their photos to reflect a warm rural feeling. Emily G took them out to a beautiful abandoned farm and caught them at their cutest — in the middle of a cozy picnic on a cool early winter morning.

A few words from Emily G:

The night was warm, beautiful and the light was perfect. Our location was rustic and endlessly inspiring. Amy + Greg are not only sweet hearts, but incredibly good looking and stylish. Really, a photographer’s dream. I also love this session as the theme was special to the couple. These two had an over the top fabulous new years wedding, but wanted something more rustic for their engagement photos. I think we captured the rustic style they were looking for, plus had a great time.
