You’re all familiar with Winnie & Kevin from The Wonder Years, yes? Well, the relationship today’s couple has, is just as epic. They’ve only known each other for 20 years, no biggie. Met in Elementary school, went to the same Middle school, shared their first kiss (riding the chairlifts at Timber Ridge), went to High school together, fell in love, and you know how the rest goes. “We have grown up together and will grow old together” – spoken like true childhood sweethearts, whom we now have the pleasure of getting to know through their wedding!
Bridesmaids in blush dresses? Romantic! Jessica asked them to find dresses they loved that came in a light blush or nude chiffon. All the dresses you see them wearing came from either H&M, Ann Taylor, or Forever 21. Super affordable and worked perfectly with the romantic feeling Jessica was going for. As far as the groomsmen go, Jessica crocheted each of them a navy bow tie to go with their sharp J.Crew suits!
Jessica walked down the aisle to Reasons to Love You by Meiko, played by two of Cody’s Groomsmen. Wish we had their version, but the Meiko version will do just fine!

My favorite store in the entire world, besides your good neighborhood thrift store, is Anthropologie. So, when it came to brainstorming the look and feel of our wedding, I wanted it to look like we could have ripped a page out from their catalogue and got married in it – romantic & vintage chic! We spent lots of time, sweat and tears, shopping vintage stores to create and capture the “vintage” feeling. From suitcases to glass vases, pearls, velvet and lace – a little bit of history made itself into everything!
If you ever find yourself wondering what to do with all of your engagement photos, you can do what Jessica + Cody did – print them out and use as fun table numbers.
For their favors they made wine, bottled it up, designed a custom label using their engagement photos, and tied them with twine and organza.
Congrats Jessica + Cody! You two are the sweetest of the sweet!
We have the absolute pinworthy wedding to share with you today – the wedding of Ben (co-founder of Pinterest) + Divya (Facebook employee & Ben’s favorite #1 Pinner). It all began with a little pinboard titled, “So it turns out we’re getting married”. Deep reds, intricate mehndi designs, bright orange marigolds, and lots of pretty shoes were pinned across the many months leading up to their celebration. Looking at the stunning images from Bonnie Tsang now, it’s easy to see that Ben + Divya pulled off exactly what they had envisioned. Modern, yet steeped in Indian traditions, their wedding, held in the lush Nestldown retreat in Los Gatos, is unlike any Indian wedding you’ve ever seen. But, of course, nothing steals the show like the glowing bride in her saree!
It’s so fun to see the pin that inspired Divya’s ornamented mehndi, applied by Threads Beauty Bar.
Our good friend, Andres Montaño designed our invitations. We loved Andres’ fun & whimsical design style and were super excited when he agreed to help design our invitations. He was incredibly patient and took a lot of care to make sure we were happy with the final product. We wanted something that was personal and fun, and couldn’t be happier with what he designed! We liked his font choices and art so much, that we used it for all the other paper goods in the wedding: table cards, decorations for the welcome table, table numbers, etc.
We knew we wanted to do an outside wedding, because one of our favorite things about California is just how much natural beauty thereis. We were also excited to incorporate personal traditions. For me, this meant picking some of my favorite Hindu traditions, likelighting a special lamp, having the parents exchange garlands, and taking 7 steps around a holy fire. For Ben, it was more about pickingsome of his favorite food and music. In the end, we felt it was the perfect marriage of both tradition + bits of our personalities.
Together with her parents, Divya walked down the aisle to, You’re So Cool by The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

We love how they found creative ways to reuse certain flower arrangements (considering flowers can hike up your wedding costs pretty fast) in different areas. The marigolds you see hanging during the ceremony were later used as garlands for their families to wear, and the bridesmaids bouquets were reused (also, after the ceremony) as their centerpieces!
Divya’s Mom brought handfuls of Indian paper kites (reminiscent to what lots of kids in India grow up flying) back from India to give out as favors.
They danced their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Silbermann to California Stars by Wilco.
We can’t thank Ben + Divya enough for allowing us to share their personal and beautiful wedding with us. We wish them the very best!

We pictured how lovely it would be to celebrate the union of two souls out in the open – green gardens, flowers blooming, and everything nature has to offer as the backdrop. Simple. Peaceful. Filled with love. Just like a flower child or hippie, but perhaps a modern day one. The collection is filled with simple and clean cuts made out of soft tulle, lace, and luscious silks in a palette of nude shades, ivory and soft whites. This is our most romantic collection yet!
The goods: Pieces are made to order, so make sure to allow 2-4 months for your dress (so worth the wait!). Free shipping for orders over $300. Oh, and did we mentioned that you get a snazzy 10% off code? Order before October 31st, enter the code LOVE100LC and you’re golden!
