A charming bowling wedding: Nichole + Tim

Categories   Real Weddings

Gorgeous gorgeous wedding nestled in the Old Buttonwoods neighborhood of Warwick, Rhode Island. Old Buttonwoods? How adorable is that!

The whole wedding is just so pretty and thoughtful and detailed… and the invites and paper are divine. Which is even more awesome because the bride, Nichole, made them! She’s a talented lady.

And we’re pretty sure that every community reception hall should come with vintage mini bowling lanes. So charming!

And we have a pretty video shot by Jim Altieri of Vintage Cinema. Neat!

So satisfying to see the whole wedding in action along with the photos!

You can see more photos of Nichole’s invites on Beast Pieces too.

Beautiful, Nichole and Tim! Congratulations!! And thank you so so much for sharing your photos with us!

Any idea where she had the beautiful photo charm made that's attached to her bouquet? I'd love to have something similar for our wedding, in memory of my mother and his.

absolutely LOVE the stationery design!

tony on Jan 27, 2011

I was lucky to be a part of this team - the talent was brilliant across the board and SO much of it was Nichole's doing. I was blown away when I saw the details she'd so lovingly created. I loved the freedom she gave me as her florist and had a great time at the wedding. Her ceremony was one of the most genuine and moving I've ever seen! x's and o's all around! Vanessa R on Jan 28, 2011

Seriously IN LOVE! I agree, the bride did an amazing job & got every detail right. Don't even get me started on the invites!!! Nichole, would you care to share where you got that rustic ribbon you used to tie your invitation suite together?? I have my stationary ready, but that type of ribbon is just what I've been looking for to package it all together!!!! Thanks in advance!

nichole on Jan 28, 2011

thank you all again for your sweet remarks! vanessa - it's cheesecloth :) you'll need to purchase cheesecloth with a tighter weave and then cut it into strips. it takes some trial and error because the cloth can fall apart easily. good luck!

Vanessa R on Jan 28, 2011

Thanks Nichole - no wonder I have not found anything quite like this "ribbon" at the store haha -- how creative! Thanks so much for the tip!

Carrie on Jan 28, 2011

Love all the details, breathtaking. What a fantastic job! I have lived in Warwick almost 30 years and never tire of it's beauty. My daughter and I love would love to rent this hall . Do you have a number/contact person? I have been there several times, hoping to catch someone there. Only number I can find is disconnected. Location is also perfect! Love everything about it! Thanks in advance.

Nichole on Mar 2, 2016

Hi Dawn, Thank you for your sweet remarks! You must live in Old Buttonwoods or have someone in the neighborhood sponsor you to be able to rent the Casino. Hope this helps!
